The Majestic Kashmir ( 7 Days 6 Nights )

Day 01: Arrive Srinagar

On arrival at Srinagar airport, our representative will meet you to pick you up and later transfer you to the Srinagar. Arrive and check in to the hotel. Later proceed for local sightseeing that includes a visit to the famous Mughal gardens of Nishat and Shalimar. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 02: Srinagar – Sonamarg – Srinagar (87 km’s one way drive Day Trip)

After breakfast we begin our second day. We will drive to the majestic mountain resort of Sonamarg. The route towards Sonamarg takes us on a picturesque country side drive where we will come across rolling hills, green forests, clear water streams and blooming rice fields. We will zoom past the town of Kangan which handles all the local needs of this region. From Kangan, we will drive towards Mammar, famous for its trout farm and stopover for a warm cup of tea before we head towards Sonamarg. In Sonamarg you can take a 3 hour walk or horseback trip to the Thajwass glacier. We will drive back to Srinagar in the evening and transfer to the hotel for your overnight stay.

Day 03: Srinagar to Gulmarg (50 Kms, 2.5 hrs)

After breakfast leave from hotel and proceed to Gulmarg. Gulmarg is also known as “Meadow Of Flowers “ & has a famous Golf course during summer (which is one if the highest 18-holes golf course in the world) & Ski Resort during winter. One can enjoy the breathtaking views of snow clad mountains, Gondola (cable car) ride from Gulmarg to Khilanmarg (own cost) to have a real view in natural beauty of the summer and full snow view in winter. You can have a pony ride in the open fields to seven springs (own cost) and to a lake, which remains frozen until June. Overnight stay at hotel in Gulmarg.

Day 04: Gulmarg – Pahalgam (140 Kms, 5 hrs)

Morning after breakfast, check out and drive to Pahalgam. Arrive and check in to the hotel in Pahalgam. Pahalgam is known as the land of shepherds. The mountain town is located along the bank of River Lidder. Here you can visit many breath taking places enroute visiting the world famous Saffron growing fields. Pahalgam is famous for Indian film industry, some trekking routes & also base camp for Amarnath pilgrimage. Day at leisure. Overnight stay at hotel in Pahalgam.

Day 04: Pahalgam

After breakfast one can visit chandanwari, Betab Valley and Aru Valley (own cost) has a fine Meadows of Picturesque scenery & starting point of trekking of Liddarwat, Kolahoi Glacier, Tarsar Lake. Overnight stay at hotel in Pahalgam.

Day 06: Gulmarg to Srinagar (50 Kms, 3 hrs)

After breakfast check-out from hotel and transfer to Srinagar. Upon arrival check-in houseboat. After rest in evening enjoy Shikara Ride on Dal lake for 1 hour and explore the beauty of the lake. Overnight stay at houseboat in Srinagar.

Day 07: Srinagar – Departure

After breakfast at the hotel, check out and transfer you to the airport for your flight back home.
